Designed for ages 11 to 17, our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program combines expert instruction with a supportive environment for continuous improvement. Encouraging physical well-being, strategic thinking, and self-esteem, BJJ equips the student with the tools and mindset needed to succeed both on and off the mat.

Having roots in Traditional Judo, Japanese Ju Jitsu and Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a holistic grappling system. From takedowns or throws to positional advantage, control and submission on the ground, BJJ practitioners use timing, leverage, balance and pressure to subdue an opponent or win a match.

With over 25 years of martial arts experience and 15 years dedicated to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Rich brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the mat. As a seasoned BJJ instructor and a Secondary School Jiu Jitsu Coach, he is passionate about making learning fun and effective for students of all ages and skill level, from novice hobbist to active competitor.
